HEY YOU, yes, YOU! 🙋♀️
How are you doing? Not as in Joey from Friends “how you doin’?”, but REEEALLY doing?
When you’re not being a leader, parent, partner, doctor, nurse, role model, team member, trainer, performer, interviewee, …
We’re rolling into February with yet more lockdowns and restrictions. Less ways to recharge and reenergize, less work/life balance.
It’s tough. And I’ll admit – January was a b**** for me.
Since the holidays, I felt lethargic, demotivated, disconnected. Wanting to hide away, sleep, curl up and read, watch movies, bake. Definitely not show up and commit to anything. I had lost track of my vision, my big picture. Which is so hard to keep hold of when every day is a carbon copy of the last and the next, with no end in sight
That goes for work as much as exercise - ‘cause, seriously… how to get motivated when bikini/ budgy smuggler season is nowhere in sight??
I turned back to receiving coaching and signed up to a few courses which turned out to be hugely motivating. I’m back to having a daily structure, being productive and WANTING to grab the proverbial bull by its horns. Wake-up, meditate, work out, breakfast, work, connect, coach, walk the dog, lunch, connect, work, coach, walk the dog, dinner, learn/ course, read, sleep. REPEAT and am loooooving it.
NB: Don’t get me wrong, I defo get side-tracked daily and bring chaos into all of that without always managing it all, but I fall into bed exhausted and driven. (Let’s see how long I last, any bets? I love a challenge - bring it on!)
SO HERE'S MY OFFER: I’m super energized and want to spread and share the love. So, if you’re feeling down, lethargic, on the verge of being depressed, finding it difficult to get excited about anything, give me a call. This time, as in Bill Withers “Lean on me”.
(Fun fact: that was my first ever favorite song, I was about 5 and knew the lyrics. An early sign of who I was to become? I choose to think so.)
No selling, no strings attached. 15’ in English, French or German (or all 3!) during which you can have a few minutes to moan, vent and be openly negative, and then I’ll take over. Give you some tips from my own experience and learnings from life, 2 burnouts, coaching, yoga, massage, and just generally being a goofball. Remind you of your vision, get you excited about something, and maybe we’ll put on some music and have a moment of silly dancing which is my go-to action to lift my spirits.
Hopefully, you’ll get some value out of it, maybe not 🤷 But I’ll do whatever I can to at least bring a smile to your face, and that’s definitely worth 15 minutes of both our time!
